October 10, 2012ADHD: Thought-Action Patterns
October 19, 2012Are you drinking enough water?
Put down the soda! Set down your coffee! Okay, so you don’t
have to completely give these up to gain the benefits of water, but I encourage
you to drink more water and fewer sugary, caffeinated drinks. Drinking enough
water is one of the foundations of mental and physical wellness. Being
dehydrated can make you tired, give you headaches, and cause you to lose focus.

Not drinking enough water can impact on your
health. A majority of your body is made up of water, so you need to replenish
the fluids all throughout your day. Some people drink a glass of water right
before eating, which can flush out your system and help you from overeating. Water
can also help your skin look healthier, your kidneys function better, and help
prevent constipation. Drinking more water can get you started on your journey to better health!
